FALKEN Signs Platinum Sponsorship Agreement with German Bundesliga Team FC Ingolstadt 04

Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. has been proud to sponsor FC Ingolstadt 04 through our FALKEN brand since 2015, when the team won promotion to 1. Bundesliga for the first time in its history. Having signed our first Premier Sponsorship Agreement with FC Ingolstadt 04 last year, we are pleased to upgrade our sponsorship this season with the recent signing of this Platinum Sponsorship Agreement. Effective for one year (through July of 2017), this new agreement entitles our company to broadcast commercials on the big screen at the team's home stadium (Audi Sportpark) and to display the FALKEN logo on fixed signage and LED advertising boards around the soccer pitch, on the backdrops used during player and coach interviews, on the team's official website and elsewhere. The agreement also includes sponsorship of a soccer school for children and more.
With this new sponsorship agreement, we aim to further increase FALKEN's brand exposure in order to promote and enhance FALKEN's image as a youthful and energetic brand on a global scale.
