Introduces EV-Suitable Logo on Falken Tyre Label to Align with Evolving Market Trends

In response to the growing demand for electric vehicles (EVs) and requirements for specialized tyre solutions, Sumitomo Rubber Industries, a leader in innovative tyre technology, is proud to announce the introduction of an EV-Suitable logo on its Falken tyre label. This initiative underscores the company’s commitment to sustainability and meeting the evolving needs of the automotive industry.

As the global transition towards electric mobility accelerates, tyres play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency, safety, and performance of EVs. The newly introduced EV-Suitable logo will help consumers easily identify tyres that meet requirements for EVs in terms of rolling resistance, load resistance, anti-wear performance, quiet ride, and wet grip performance.

The EV-Suitable logo will be available on label of selected sizes of Falken Azenis FK520L Tyre and will be distributed through its extensive network of dealers and retailers.

New with EV logo Note: Only sizes that meet all requirements for EVs in terms of rolling resistance, load resistance, anti-wear performance, quiet ride, and wet grip performance will have the logo on its label.
